: Hi folks,
: I purchased a very fine cal.1002; (mvnt ref:
: 32093195) with an excellent dial ( DeVille )
: and hands today.
: Now, how can I find out, to which case ref.
: this movement belongs to ?
: If somebody already knows, do you have pics for
: me ?
: I remember, years ago there has been a John
: Diethelm at Omega Vintage service. He was
: very helpful. Is there a follower, who might
: has lists ?
: Thanx in advance
: louis
Trying to find what case reference number the movement was originally in is difficult unless someone recognizes it.
Finding all of the case reference numbers which housed the movement may be easier.
The Omega Vintage Database is one place to start. It is far from complete, as John Diethelm would be the first to admit. I found 17 listings, including seven Deville case numbers.

There is a general description and sometimes photos. This Omega Vintage Database requires a free registration and is located in the Customer Service section of the Omega website.
Another is the vendor Jules Borel, who has a wonderful supply of Omega parts, but a difficult webpage to research.
It shows the following case reference numbers:
OME CS#162.0046 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#162.0047 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#162.0048 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0051 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0052 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0075 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0085 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0086 OMEGA CASE REFERENCE
OME CS#166.0087 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0088 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0089 OMEGA CASE REFERENCE
OME CS#166.0090 OMEGA CASE REFERENCE
OME CS#166.0091 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0093 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
OME CS#166.0094 OMEGA CASE - USES CALIBER 1002
There may be more, but this is a start. I do not know if the ones without a calibre will fit the 1002, but it is a good guess they might.
There is no description or other data of the case reference numbers at Borel except parts numbers and prices. Incidentally, there is a good parts list for calibre 1002 also.
hope this helps
Sam
