AD - selection, sales tax, and service

Hi all. I've been lurking and learning for a while now and am finally ready to jump in as a new Omega owner! Thanks to everyone for all the insight. I'm still somewhat undecided but I've narrowed it down to the PO (42mm) and the Speedmaster BA. Obviously they are very different watches that I'd like to try on side by side. Do you have any suggestions for a brick/mortar AD in the DC area that has a nice selection of watches, and is also going to be competitively priced? Or is that too much to ask and I should try them at one place and order from another? Does the sales tax issue alone make this a moot point? Also, since the BA has a somewhat spotty history, should that factor into my decision to work with a local dealer in the case something needs replacement? Many thanks for the input.
