I'd also be very interested to hear details about Rolex vs. Omega in terms of absolute quality.
From my naive position, it would seem much harder to argue Rolex offers better *value*, given the large price difference.
I have no axe to grind; I love my 2254.50, and secretly covet a GMT-Master and a Sub ND, although I can't quite explain why. The regular "mine is bigger than yours" arguments hold no interest for me, but I'm keen to learn more about horology, please.
