Now a Rolex is better, not just better VFM?
In Response To: Re: ROLEX vs OMEGA ()

: WOW !!! I've really set the cat amongst the pigeons!! Calm down
: boys!! No offence meant (or taken).
: You all have good watches. Are you happy now? Know what my
: favourite watch is? A TISSOT PR 516.
: Know what PR stands for? Particularly Robust. Know what. TISSOT was
: first and THEN omega was born.
: Know what? A ROLEX is a better watch than an omega!!!

: Cheers

Pieter, I like your enthusiasm and you clearly think you have stirred the Omega diehards, but as I read through these posts, it only seems that you are the one that has gotten fired up. We have simply asked you to just present valid arguments for your position, for which you then presented your worldly possessions as evidence to support your claim, and a general statement about Tissot being one of your favorite watches? What relevence this has to this argument somewhat escapes me at the moment, but hey, whatever to deflect the original question, I guess. When you do decide to put your fingers on the keyboard to bang out a meaningful comparison of X Omega vs Y Rollie and why specifically they are vastly different Value for Money, I will be the first to read it. I guess if anything, at least what you have said so far has been mildly amusing, and it didn't cost me anything. Now thats about as good a VFM that you can get.
