: It is barely a year old. Bought from authorized dealer.Am noticing
: it is running a little fast. In 2-3 days it is about a minute
: fast. I will try it crown up at night and see what happens. Any
: suggestions? If I take it to a dealer(it is under the 3 year
: warranty), can they "time" it and adjust it? Also if
: they open it and break the red seal, does an authorized service
: center put some other seal to show it was opened by an
: authorized serice center? I heard somewhere that a green seal is
: put on it. Any experiences with that?
Some can adjust it Doug, others will send it to a service center where it may take months to get it back. The seal really
doesn't mean anything as it will come off with normal wear. My last one didn't last a week with normal wear. If I was fond of the
watch and didn't want to be without it, I'd find a local watchmaker and have him time it for you and recheck the water resistance
to make sure it didn't leak. Shouldn't cost but a few bucks and worth it to save all the problems with sending it back to Omega,
the shipping and the risk of loss and the things associated with mailing one or waiting on a AD to do it for you.
And sometimes Omega puts a green dot seal on it to show warranty work has been done to the watch. I won't
stay on long either. Good luck.
