There's now 4 years since I had my watch serviced - a "full overhaul" to get it as near as possible to "new" condition. At that time it had not been serviced for a decade, and was running about 10-15 seconds slow. After that, it took a year or so to get it to run acceptably: less than 10 seconds off (it was 20+ seconds off). The solution was to get a specialist at the local Swatch have a go at it (and that took some weeks, IIRC).
It is a Constellation - I believe "1960s calibre 564 'C' shape case" - bought new in 1969. Recently is has been running very well - average for ca. 80 days has been about 1 second fast (slightly better, in fact).
I'm wondering if I let a dealer service it once more I will have to go through another year with a number of adjustments.
Should I have it serviced? What's the risk that it will be "way off" afterwards?
