Broken Geneva Dynamic winder and stem
I recently inherited an Omega Geneva Dynamic from my uncle. It was not keeping very good time and so i thought I would remove the mechanism from the watch and try and adjust the rate. This was probably my first mistake. I saw an interesting posting on your site about removing the glass and quickly purchased a Crystal lifter. Ths worked fine but when I tried to remove the winder by pinging it off. the stem broke off leaving me with a winder and busted off stem inside the thread. With some brute force and ignorance i managed to remove the broken stem and twisted out the mechanism. Where can i buy a new winder and stem? i have searched on line and cannot find a stockist. Any views from you experts out there, please??
