Limited knowledge, but...
In Response To: Movement ()

...according to what Omega sent me regarding the 1164, the movement in the Seamaster Chrono:

- all Omega movements have white rhodium plating and special waves.

- It is a "customized" Omega version. From what the picture shows, the movement has the "Omega' shaped auto winding wheel. I'm still a bit ignorant as to what the proper name for that feature is.

- It features a "Glucydur balance". Again, don't know what that is. It might be the winding wheel, it might be something else.

- It also features an "Etachron" regulator assembly with precision adjustment. Not sure what that is either, but it sounds way cool to me, and might also be related to the Omega shaped winding thing.
