Dave, thanks for the response - I hope I didn't come across in my posting as one who isn't aware of the many uses for Scotch-Brite. I should've written that the idea of using this product on my watch was "news to me". It never crossed my mind that a fine watch's finish could be touched up using a .79 scouring pad! I just thought that maybe others out there would benefit from the info (it's probably more likely that most folks knew this fact but me!).
