I have been wearing my new and wonderful OO7
semaster for a week and a half I am really enjoying it. 2 questions It is consistently gaining several seconds a day so now it is almost a minute ahead after 1 1/2 weeks I understand they need a break-in just like a car how long is this break-in period. One factor I never take the watch off I am careful not to go from the pool into a hot shower as I was advised this sort of thing can weaken the seals and allow moisture in I am really glad I got the automatic I don't have to be exact ...the specs set by the cosc are accurate enough for me right now mine doesn't fit in the guidelines ...yet? Maybe i should take it off at night sometimes huh? And I am used to wearing a TAG and it had the double flip clasp I believe the seamaster clasp is far better I was wondering if I should be concerened about the clasp ever inadvertantly opening I don't want to lose this watch I am a watch nut by my terms although One super watch is good for me as long as it is good as this omega I am fortunate to be wearing now. I am going to re-set the time now and follow the time variation again. thanks for your response and advise to a new omega owner I am sending the appraisal in to my insurance tonight to get it covered Is this common it would be very hard for me to spend another grand plus$$ for another.
