Re: Omega owners really want Rolex
In Response To: Omega owners really want Rolex ()

I've never been too impressed with the Rolex brad. Let's face it, they make over a million watches a year (by machine 99%) so you are just paying an artifiacial premium just to keep a prestigious label but the product is not really worth it. For the money, Omega is easily equivalent. If I were to paythe big bucks I would buy a Lange 1 easily a better watch than any from Rolex or Omega. Attention to detail, small production, individual attention, not mostly an automated product. I have a Blanpain 2185 and it is a beautiful watch and it has a retrofitted back which shows the beautiful mechanism. Personally I think Omega is equal to Rolex but there are better watches out there overall.
