Omega cal. 1021...(23 j) is it in house?

Picking your brains here.....i'm looking to buy a heavy cased Omega Constellation with a 21 jewel cal. 1021 movement. The seller says he was told this was one of the last "in house" Omega calibre before Omega started to utilize outsourced movements and adding to them. It's supposed to be cir late '70's early 80's, and supposed to have a sapphire crystal also. I wasn't aware of sapphire being used then either, but in the photo the bezel does look quite a bit higher than on my older cased Constellations, and appears very much like a flatter sapphire type.

Anyway....anybody know for sure if the cal. 1021 is in house?
