but reputable dealers, simply cannot afford to have these things hanging around for years. The object is to move them, and move them quick!

I got my Speedmaster Reduced at 50% off, because their other store location couldn't sell it, and moved it back to the main store. I don't pretend to know all the inner workings of retail, but I do know this. The object is to sell stuff, not leave it on the shelf hoping some sucker will walk in and buy it anyway.

I agree with Derek. So what if it's 10 months old or something. It's not like it's been worn by the sales staff as a demo.
