Re: Any reveiews on reduced Speedy?

I just bought one of these (NIB) from an on-line company for about around 775. I used a 10% off online coupon in conjunction with their already nice price of 850. This is, IMHO, a very nice price for a very nice wristwatch.

I really am impressed with this model. Very good looks. Someone here once said that it has a bit of a retro look and I must agree that it does. The size is just right for me too, a little bit larger than the SMP midsize and Rolex AirKing.

The only complaint that I have is that the bracelet is not as impressive as that found on the Seamaster (and, I assume, on the Speedy Pro). I believe that it feels a little bit light.
Nevertheless, I trust that the bracelet is sturdy enough. It has about the same heft as an oyster bracelet.

I firmly believe that this is one of the best watches one can buy for less than 800 bucks. Give it seriuos consideration.

I will not, however, compare this watch with the SPEEDY PRO since I believe that the only similarity that these watches share is the name and the general appearance. I beleive that most folks (WIS) tend to prefer the Speedy Pro, regardless of the price difference.
