Omega Raising Prices on Seamaster AC Chrono

I just got off the phone with my Dealer. Omega is raising the price on the Seamaster America's Cup Chronograph. Don't ask me the rhryme or reason. He has sold a number at the old price, and the new stock came in at the higher prices. He checked with his Omega Rep, who confirms it, and also with Omega US who confirms it as well. SS models are going up $200, Titanium models are going up $300, and the Ti/Ta/RG model is going up $500. I do know Omega was first planning on releasing these watches at a considerably higher price at the beginning of this year, but paired down the prices to what we saw when they were actually released. Older stock sold to Dealers at the old prices should remain at the lower prices, but new stock will reflect the price increases.

2002 Omega Seamaster America's Cup Chrono Diver

Seamaster America's Cup Chronograph (Stainless Steel) Black Bezel SS, Black Dial 2594.50.00 was $3295 now $3495
Seamaster America's Cup Chronograph (Titanium) SS Bezel SS, Black Dial 2293.50.00 was $3995 now $4295
Seamaster America's Cup Chronograph (Ti/Ta/RG) RG Bezel SS, Black Dial 2294.50.00 was $4995 now $5495

Seamaster America's Cup Chronograph (Stainless Steel)Black Bezel, Black Strap, Black Dial 2894.50.91 is $2995 remains the same. This price appears to make no sense compared to the other increases. Perhaps they just haven't gotten their act together on it, but I would logically expect it to be raised to $3195.
Seamaster America's Cup Chronograph (Titanium) Alum Bezel, Black Strap, Black Dial 2993.50.91 was $3895 now $4195
