seamaster carré?

I saw a seamaster from, I guess the 70's, at a local dealer in pre-owned watches. It is has a metal case, 4 screws in the 4 corners on the front-side, a black dial, a day-date indicator, a central second,it has a Omega logo and has marked Omega and Seamaster. It has a leaher strap but not the original, below on the case there is an inscription of the Omega logo and Quartz.
He is asking 1100 euro (about the same in dollars)
Is it worth it?
Can you give me information on the watch? Is it one of the first quartz watches B21?
