I posted this in the other forum too.

Keith is (of course !) right, but here's a bit more info.

I have a 3590.50.00, it left Omega in 1994. It has an 861 movement. In 1996 they changed to 3570.50.00

Here is what Omega wrote to me when I asked :-

"the same watch but under the new ref. PIC 3570.50.00 was in the Collection since 1996, and its manual winding chronograph movement of cal. 861 ( gilt plated ) has been replaced by its technical identical movement, but having now a rhodium plating finish , therefore also having a new caliber 1861"

Funnily enough they didn't mention the fact that the 1861 movement has a plastic part in it - which is supposed to be better.

I took my 3590.50.00 to my local dealer and held it & the current 3570.50.00 at the same time. Externally there is no difference ( with the exception of the bracelets)

I hope this helps

Steve
