I, too, have noticed this on some Quartz SMPs.

I've seen it before on NIB Quartz SMPs at Authorized Dealers. Likewise, I've heard of some complaints that the second hand (on quartz) doesn't line up EXACTLY with the markers on the dial. Once again, not anything major however... possibly a nuisance if you let it get to you.

I think that if it bothers you then you should have the auth. dlr. repair or replace watch. You did pay good money for it and you should be 100% pleased with your $1K+ watch.

If it doesn't bother you though, I don't think that it is a sign of a major problem. YOu could bring it up next time you have battery changed or get it serviced.
