adjusting smp braclet

I have a very small wrist and had my smp watch adjusted several times to get the right fit. Well, "the right fit" made the braclet look like one side (12 o'clock side) was longer then the other (6 o'clock side). On the 12 o'clock side was five links minus the half link. On the 6 o'clock side was three links plus the half link. The face of the watch was positioned just right on my arm. Plus the big clasp was sitting just right on my arm too. Some one mentioned I had too many links on one side then the other. so, I had it adjusted again. The 12 o'clock side has now four links plus a half link. The 6 o'clock side has four links only. With this done, now the clasp sits slightly off the center of my wrist. It is not sitting right in the middle of my wrist like I had it before. Also the face of my watch has moved to the outer side of my wrist too. When I move the face of the watch to get it adjusted right on my arm, the clasp of the watch moves further away from the center of my wrist. Why is getting the links on this braclet so hard to fit right and look right? It seems that I had to have the links on the watch "off a bit" in order for it to fit properly. On all of my other watches I have had no problems what so ever.
