: leave the factory with the red seal?
My Seamaster 2254.50, which I bought new from an authorised Omega dealer, did not have the red seal on the caseback. I am not worried at all.
Also, the article states that the dot will wear/wash off with normal use.
If the watch is in good condition and runs within spec, just enjoy it!
