I see alot on the seamasters, but what about?

The speedmaster?I do however have a couple of question about a newer speedmaster?

The Manufacturer's Model# 3572.50

Manual-wind Swiss movement.
Stainless steel case and bracelet.
Chronograph.
Black dial.
"First watch on the moon."
See through back.
Water resistant to 30m (100 ft).
First watch worn on the moon. Flight qualified by NASA for all space missions.

Those are the specs,the question is does anyone know how many of watches in this model was made?I have been told 999 of them were produced?Also acourding to the specs of this watch being a remake of the classic first (besides the clear back)speedmaster to visit the moon, its a manual wind.Was the first watch on the moon a manual wind?I also noticed these are very expensive in the speedmaster line of watches, is that because it is a limited production?Or because of the clear back?

If anyone could enlighten me on some of or all of these questions I would be greatfull..
