FS: Seiko Business-A, '66 'Grammar of Design', silver linen dial

I am offering for sale this beautifully preserved vintage Seiko Business-A, reference 8306-9030 from November 1966, in a modern size featuring a stunning linen dial underneath its distinctive original crystal - ideal for vintage enthusiasts who demand pristine condition and desire a classic yet still affordable Seiko design.

Details:
► Exceptionally well-preserved, unpolished all stainless steel case with sharp edges and clean contours visualizing the typical Seiko design (“Grammar of Design”) of the 1960s, with only the slightest superficial signs of wear
► Authentic caseback with a perfect dolphin logo and all markings clearly legible
► Beautiful silver linen-textured dial with applied hour markers and an applied logo, without luminous material (which makes it more resistant to radiation- and age-related damage in the long term)
► Original handset, also without luminous material
► Non-screwed original crown
► Mineral crystal in good condition with a substantial bevel, showing only slight scratches which do not affect readability (identical aftermarket replacement crystals are easily obtainable)
► Clean Seiko 8306A automatic movement (30 jewels) featuring a smooth manual winding mechanism as well as weekday and date display; starts immediately, runs smoothly and keeps time with a deviation of approx. 5s/d (measured laid down, service history unknown); the date and weekday are centred in the window and their changeover works flawlessly
► New suede strap in correct size with a vintage-style tapering from 19 to 16mm and quick-release spring bars - in case you’re not keen on the dark orange, pumpkin-like look, just tell me and I'm sure I can find a more subtle alternative colour combination for you in my strap box
► Comes with a practical black travel case made from Saffiano leather
► Externally cleaned, from a non-smoking household and ready to wear

Dimensions:
► Diameter: 37mm (excluding the crown), a substantial size for a dress watch from the 1960s
► Lug-to-lug: approx. 42mm
► Height: only approx. 11.5 mm, despite the thick crystal
► Lug width: 19mm

Price:
I am asking EUR 250,- plus international insured shipping according to destination.

And now for the pictures:

The watch is located in Austria (EU) and so am I. I do have plenty of international references from various watch enthusiasts (also known here), so please feel free to ask for them.

Just for the records: I am a private collector and, therefore, the watch comes without any personal guarantee given by me. Nevertheless, I am offering to give a full refund less fully insured shipping expenses in case the piece sold would not be as described by me (within an inspection period of three days and to buyers from within the EU only due to the complex customs procedure in case of an overseas deal).

Thanks for reading and thanks to the Chronotrader platform and its host!

Kind regards,
F.Antl
