Hello fellow chrono comrades
Up for sale is my NEAR MINT(according to heuer price guide definitions) Carrera 3647 silver dial.
All original!!! I am only unsure of the crown which is unsigned, and the plexi. I have seen examples of some with signed crowns and some with not.
CASE:
Case is pristine, it has a faint scratch on one side( see pic). This watch has not been cleaned, nor polished, and is in its purely original state.
One small scratch on the back, to small to be seen on the camera.
Serial number "POPS" and is more clearly visible in person due to the reflection from the case itself.
Please excuse the poor quality pic of the movement, I had it opened for photo and service history by my watchmaker, and did not review the picture before he resealed it. He said that he did not see any service record in the case back. However, after reviewing the photo I think I faintly see ONE etching around 10 o clock. Plastic has some faint scratches that will reflect in particular light angles. No major chips or gouges.
Dial:
Lume is intact. Hands and dial look wonderful. I see 4 ground pepper sized marks on the dial which I believe to be dust from a possible plexi replacement. One is suspended and I know 100% is not a defect or imperfection in the dial. The other three are the smaller ones. In my close up opinion it seems to be dust particals, but cannot guarantee it. I am 90% sure they are also not imperfections. Either way I made sure they are visible in the pics. Comes on a cheapy, two tone stainless steel Speidel band that actually looks quite good. (and its free)
All FUNCTIONS working as they should and pushers are smooth,crown winds good, and chrono resets to 0.
