This came in a lot of clocks I purchased at auction, that included a perfect A&F Heuer Rally Master pair. I love this clock, but have no place to use it, so before putting it on the bay, I figured I would post it here in case anybody is interested. While it's outside my wheelhouse, my research shows that it's an Imperial Japanese Navy ship's clock by Seikosha, now Seiko. It's 8 inches in diameter and weighs a ton.
From what I've read, there are very few of these available as the Japanese navy didn't do very well in WW2, so most ended up on the bottom of the ocean. The glass cover opens, it's key wound (key included) and it runs like a champ. It just keep going and going. If any of my info is inaccurate, please let me know. I'm not expert on military clocks, I would appreciate the help.
Based on my research of the prices military clock dealers are asking, I'm asking $1500, which seems like a pretty fair price, plus shipping at cost and 4% for paypal. Any questions, please ask. Need a pic to prove it's real, no problem. And if this is outside the scope of Chronotrader, sorry Jeff. I just hate to let this clock go without at least giving it a shot here first, as it's that cool a clock.
