Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Thanks for looking and thanks to Chronocentric for the space.
Up for sale is a Heuer 3H Bund 1550 SG in excellent condition and with all functions working as they should (stops, starts and returns to zero). Watch was serviced by previous owner in January of 2015. Price is 3150 USD (net) or best offer via paypal or wire and includes watch head, bund strap seen in last two pictures and insured overnight shipping to the US via Parcel Pro. US deals preferred and international deals considered, potential buyers please contact me to work out the details.
Dial
Minty red 3H and small 'T' tritium variant with uniform patina on the numerals
Hands
Excellent condition and likely replacements as lume appears to be a different material / hue than the dial
Case
Near Mint condition with only the slightest signs of wear being a minor ding on one lug (see pictures for further detail). 1550 SG and Serial number clearly visible between the lugs and National Stock Number (NSN) clearly visible on the caseback. Note: one of the 4 dogear screws that secures the front loading movement to the case is missing.
Crystal
Acrylic with some minor scratches/scuffs that some polywatch and elbow grease wouldn't take care of in a few minutes
Bezel
Excellent and shows little to no wear
Strap
Never used Bund strap with NSN/National Stock Number matching the watch
Full disclosure: I had sent a picture of this watch to an acquaintance and he pointed out that it did not appear to have one of the known dial variations in the Heuer Bund article on Brown-Snout.com (here is a post on MWR about this topic: http://www.mwrforum.net/forums/showthread.php?73644-Heuer-3H-Bund-is-this-a-legitimate-dial-variation). Suffice it to say, though the dial variation on my watch is not in the Brown Snout article, I am confident the dial and the rest of the watch is legitimate (I wouldn't be selling it otherwise). Mr. Jack Alexyon of International Watch Works, a true gentleman and scholar who knows a thing or two about military watches, concurs regarding the legitimacy of the watch having said "It's clearly a genuine Heuer BUND....It's a very nice example IMHO."
Let the pictures do the talking from here:
