Original hands have the bevel, like the hq Milton example you posted.

Service hands, like on your watch, are flat.

: reasons. One the hands are consistent with other 1016 examples
: from 1967 this includes the sweep seconds hand and both the hour
: and minute hands. Additionally when viewed under U.V. Light the
: tritium within the hands and on the dial reacts properly and
: shows consistency in texture, color and responsiveness to the
: U.V. Light. The watch was a one owner example that was sourced
: directly from the estate of the original owner.
