CASE & BRACELET

The lightly polished case of this 1979 Ref. 1680 is in excellent condition with light wear from use. The Rolex service insert is in overall good condition showing very little wear from use and retains a luminova pearl at the 12 o'clock position. Watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.

DIAL & HANDS

The matte dial is in good condition showing some slight surface marking only visible with a loupe. The lume has achieved a desirable creamy eggshell like patina, there are some discolorations on the surface of the pilots as can be seen in the photos that are also consistent throughout the lume plots. The lume of the dial and the hands shows no lume degradation when inspected under UV. The hands have aged slightly lighter than the dial and show no lume degradation under UV. The silver date wheel has the era correct open 6's and 9's.

None. The watch was just received a full service and is running at COSC spec backed by a 1-year warranty of accurate timekeeping
