This beauiful swiss CAUNY CHRONOGRAPH is NEW OLD STOCK from the 60's and exhibits only the basic so-called "shop sitting wear" that a 40 year old watch would pick up over the years. It is a beautiful 35x41mm ( not counting the crown) heavy GOLD PLAQUE ( rolled gold plate) case with s/s pressure back case. The watch is FOUR TIMES SIGNED with dial, movement, case and crown all signed. It has the cool feature for chronograph function whereby the top chronograph pusher starts the chronograph and the bottom pusher both stops and resets the timer. This chronograph has two registers for contant seconds and a 45 minute register. The stop seconds counter is on the center pinion. The chronograph has the added feature of an UNUSUAL DATE AT THE SIX POSITION. Here are more specific details:
DIAL- highly detailed satin silver with big raised gold markers and gold hands. Highly detailed with both red and black TACHYMETER AND TELMETER SCALES. Black dial lettering and marked: CAUNY, PRMA, 17 RUBIES, ANTIMAGNETIC, INCABLOC, SWISS.
MOVEMENT- fresh, clean and running well with all chrono functions working. Marked; CAUNY, 17 RUBIES, SWISS AND L-187 (Landeron 187 chronograph module). It is manual wind with date feature.
CASE- caseback marked: CAUNY PRMA, FOND ACIER INOXDABLE, LUNETTE CARRURE PLAQUE, OR G. 10 MICRONS, SWISS MADE.
CROWN- original signed crown.
STRAPS- beautiful genuine Bengal Lizard Calf/alligator grain with goldtone buckle.
