Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. For sale is a pre-owned excellent vintage condition 42mm stainless steel Omega Speedmaster. The 145.022 is a 265 million serial and case back stamped from 1968. The Speedmaster recently returned from Omega service where it underwent complete servicing. The watch will come with the service box, service papers, and parts that were exchanged at service including the crystal, pushers, and crown. The dial appears to be original, but the hands and bezel insert appear to be service replacements from some point in the past as they were not addressed at its recent service. The Speedmaster features a matte black three-register tritium dial with stick indices and a tachymeter bezel. The dial remains clean and the tritium indices have aged to a pleasant crème color that glow brightly when exposed to UV before quickly dropping off. The hands have aged a few shades and glow under UV but fade out quickly. The finished case is in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear and retains a nice profile with well defined lines. The Speedmaster is mounted on a stainless steel 1171 bracelet with 633 end links that exhibit some stretch commiserate with its age and will accommodate a seven inch wrist. The 145.022 is powered by a manually wound Omega Caliber 861.
