Montreal

Hi Mark,

Yes, I think I have studied all vintage Heuer models - hundreds of pictures from the web and of course the book from Arno;-) And I had a couple of Autavias before (right now I have one - a manual wind 73463T with silver dial which I got from Paul Gavin - a really stunning watch), but never a Montreal although I know it is pretty big. The Autavia for me is beside the Monacos the most beautiful vintage Heuer model. Especially the case-style looks better to me than the case of the Montreal. But it is true - the Montreal is also a very nice watch (especially in combination with a steel-bracelet) and I am pretty sure that one day I will own one ... after I found a second Autavia;-) (Especially a 1163 GMT or another manual 73463 with black dial, white subdials would be fine.)

cheers, christoph

: Have you thought about trying a Montreal Christoph? Similar sort of
: style to the Carrera but a genuinely big watch, even for modern
: sensibilities - it might suit you even more than an Autavia.
