: It is now back on the market. This time it is being offered freshly
: serviced, and with a brand new original crystal. Now you can see
: how amazingly the dial has aged!
: I had the watchmaker remove the movement for servicing, and I sent
: the watch case out for restoration while I waited for the new
: crystal and gaskets to arrive. I was promised delivery of the
: case in 10 days. Alas, when I arrived to pick it up, the
: restorer said that he hadn't done it yet. That made my day! I
: was never really keen on doing it anyway as this is a 41 year
: old watch, and it looks pretty darn good as is!
: The crystal gasket that came from Omega was the wrong size and the
: first attemt at installing scraped off a small amoumt of paint
: from the crystal edge. This was touched up and is hardly
: noticeable. I brought the watch to another watchmaker to have it
: fit for a correct gasket.
: Any spots you see on the crstal are lint.
: It is now back in my hands. Maybe a few extra scratches for all the
: effort, but it looks great and runs great.
: I am now asking $1350 cdn shipped to any address in Canada. $1250
