Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. FS: Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer, Carrera 2447 Case

Here it is, everyone's favorite version of the Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer, in the Carrera Ref 2447 style case.

Here's the story -- one of our readers would like to sell this one. So he sent it to me, for portraiture and to have our top expert check it out, prior to the sale. Our top expert replaced the crystal and inner bezel (tension ring), but reported that the movement was so nice and the watch running so well, that no servicing of the movement was recommended.

We'll try to keep the sale friendly, as follows: The owner wants this watch to go to a good home, hopefully someone in the OnTheDash family. I recommended that we say "Best offer over $4,000", and the owner likes this as a minimum price and as a way of having a relaxed sale process. We expect to keep this offer open for a few days (maybe up to a week or 10 days), but if you want to make a whopping, preemptive offer that will make the owner's head spin, you can feel free to take that approach. I believe that this is a fair price for such a spectacular watch (and a nice price for the buyer), and have suggested that it should probably sell for something above $4,000. [I will also confirm that I am helping with this sale as a "random act of kindness", and have no financial interest in the sale, etc.]

OK, folks . . . let's find a new home for this amazing watch!!

Jeff
