FSOT: Nifty Vulcain dual register with 7730 - the first Val chrono

First a disclaimer - I am using sellers pictures here (with permission) as the watch arrives here tomorrow morning...I will inspect and take current photos immediately uon arrival and amend this listing if there is anything not as described or shown.

Valjoux, while an innovative company, having invented the column wheel in 1890 (used in virtually every chronograph movement since) bought the Venus company in order to gain access to their Cal 188 with the cam/lever shuttle (first introduced by Landeron in the late 1940's).

Thus they owned the rights to the Cal 188 - which they renamed the 7730 and continued production for a couple of years only. They then redesigned this original design to make it less expensive to mass produce - and came up with the 7733 - which has been the base design right up to today's modern movements like the 7750.

BUT...the 7730 started it all.

FSOT is a recently serviced Vulcain dual register with a neat panda style black/silver dial - running flawlessly. Case has never been polished or molested and reflects appropriate wear for it's age. On a generic black leather strap.

This movement can also be found in Heuer Autavia, Camaro and Breitling Sprints among many others and has stood the test of time like few others in history.

Price is a very reasonable $800 and trades should be valued in a slightly higher range, please. My tastes are wide and varied but WR must be at least 100m as I will most certainly screw up and get any watch wet. I have a couple of other watches I can throw in to any deal - a beater Omega SMP quartz or Omega 120 will be instantly accepted.

Again, previous seller's ('ctzn' from WatchUSeek) pics for today - and new ones tomorrow. Paypal only and USA only please. Direct email to nat.parkinson@gmail.com.

and a generic caseback photo of the same watch from where I do not know...but I will have the correct one tomorrow...this shot is just for reference
