FS: 'Tropical' Speedmaster with 1039 , B&P and STS serviced

Hi

For Sale is my all original & superb 1969 Omega Speedmaster 'Tropical' dial ST145.022-69 with 29mill 861 movement:

As you can see the Watch is the perfect complete vintage example which has the rare 'Tropical' dial patina. From what I have read this was due to the production process at the time not applying the 'Zapon' coating and with the combination of a hot , humid , sunny & smokey environment this is the end result - my one is from South America so this makes perfect sense:

Handset is original with superb matching patina & bezel is the dot above 90 version

Caseback is the Pre-moon version with nice clear logo & Speedmaster marking:

Full length 1039 stamped 3rd Quarter 1970 with 4x Semi-expandable links either side of the clasp and complete with the correct 516 endlinks:

Original Omega papers with matching Serial number (see STS invoice movement number to confirm) showing sold July 1971:

Original box in good condition , hinge repaired and includes period hang tag:

The Watch has just had a light restore & full service by Omega UK's vintage service centre STS at a cost of £375.00p and therefore comes with a full 2x year transferable warranty - replaced parts are included with the package:

As this is such a lovely example of the Tropical dial and considering the originality of the Watch & package I am looking for a £2695 incl RMSD

Payment via Bank Transfer only -

Plenty of references available -

All the best - Neil
