FS: VERY RARE Vintage Heuer Carrera 12 Dato Chronograph

I hate to let this go...but need to at this time.

I purchased this from the original owner (who shared with me that he purchased it new in 1968). **This watch is particularly rare as it has the Abercrombie and Fitch Company branding on the dial.

It's in very good condition for a watch of this vintage. The dial is very clean, untouched/original; the case has some marks and scratches but overall is very clean (it has NOT been polished and retains nice, sharp edges, etc). The crown and pushers are all original to the watch. It was recently fully serviced and regulated and ALL functions run great -keeps very accurate time.

***Watch comes with the original stainless steel Heuer bracelet (which I haven't had time to photograph yet, but will) which is in good/very good condition
-the strap pictured is NOT included. I gurantee this watch and movement to be all original. Keep in mind, it was held by the original owner for almost 45 years, and I'm only the second owner.

$4,575 shipped and insured (within the USA). Local Southern California transaction very welcomed.
