FS: Heuer Autavia Automatic 1163GMT 1st exec. 1-24 bezel

Early Cal.11 variant Autavia GMT 1-24 bezel

This is the first series automatic GMT from Heuer. Before Heuer created the Cal.14 movement for the automatic GMT they factory modified the Cal.11 & a small number of these were produced with arrow GMT hand & viceroy style H & M hands.
This earlier model had all the numbers 1-24 on the bezel. This watch has an aftermarket bezel insert in place insert which i have aged (distressed) to better fit the rest of the watch.
This model Autavia was produced in very low numbers , its serial number is 2055xx which places it correctly in this late 1970 run.
The movement has been serviced by one our forums respected watchmakers in January & is running flawlessly - time, date and chrono all working as they should.
The red of the chrono seconds hand and hour/minute hands have softened with age to a burnt orange colour which is very pleasing to the eye. The dial also shows patina, mostly on the lume plots & some discolouration of the white on the registers ( check the photo's ).

Here is a photo link with plenty of pictures for you :
