FS: Extremely Rare Pierce (wig-wag) Automatic 1930s

Another for sale from my collection is an early automatic watch, from the late 1920s to early 30s era, a response to the Harwood auto winding system - The Wig Wag Automatic.

This wig wag movement is adopted by Pierce, and this example is just amazing. The dial is so fresh and minty, and of course, with little hints of its age if you scrutinize with a loupe. Many examples seen on the web are never even close to 50% of this condition, let alone finding a full all original dial. I bought it directly from a collector of fine watches and this has not seen much light in its life.

The wig wag automatic works well, and with its crown hidden in the case (to prevent moisture/ dust). The Wig Wag automatic winds by having the whole movement moving up and down. This is actually adopted again, by recent years (I cannot remember which manufacture) for the novelty factor.
The case is exceptionally large for its time, at 45mm lugs to lugs and 26mm across. It is thick at 12mm and have a lot of wrist presence. It has a JLC reverso look, probably common for this era.

The dial has a lot of details, with different polishing/ finish to achieve these. And with the blued hands, it looks totally gorgeous.

The super ultra thick acrylic crystal is believed to be the original one.

A very rare watch, and try to find another example!

I am asking for a reasonable USD 950 for this very rare bird.

I accept bank wire transfer. Paypal ok if you pay me in SGD (based on latest exchange on XE currency) and if we share the fees at 2% each.

If the above photos do not load, means it has gone to a good home.

Please reach me at reficul_x AT yahoo DOT com.

Try not to PM me as I will take longer time to response.
A decade of smooth trade reference provided upon request.

Thanks!
