FS: Rare Divers Omega Seamaster SM200 Banana Dial 166.068

You are bidding on an Omega Seamaster 200M Reference 166.068, known as the “Banana Dial.”

This watch is in incredible condition for its age. It runs flawlessly and was recently serviced (7/2013) by Omega in Bienne, Switzerland. I have never seen a Banana Dial watch for sale in the past few years in this condition.

The photos do show every imperfection with this watch -- but trust me, it's in incredible condition. The colors are bright, the edges are sharp, and the bezel is in amazing shape for the vintage. I have owned this watch personally and it has been my rotation as a daily wearer watch. Selling it to make more room in my collection!

Circa: 1970s
Winding: Automatic
Metal: Stainless Steel
Measurments: 40mm wide without crown, 45mm with crown. 44m long
Case Reference: 166.068
Movement SN: 33047500
Working Condition: Movement works great and keeps great time. The watch was serviced in July 2013 by Omega and was sent to Bienne for maintenance.
Condition of Case: Scuffing and surface marks. Back case has wrench marks.
Condition of Dial: Dial in amazing condition. Hands were changed by Omega.
Bracelet: Stainless steel, full length with all links and screws. Omega model 1170 with rare 631 ends.
Bezel: Tight and clicks perfectly. Bi-directional. Light discoloration, but the best condition of any banana bezel I’ve ever seen.
Crown: Omega screw down crown.
