FS: BARN FIND ROLEX SUBMARINER 1680 MARK2 dated 1979

I am selling this fantastic Rolex Submariner 1680 MK2 from 1979.
I really would like to call this a barn find Rolex Sub since the watch is 100% original, never messed with.

What I am offering is a watch that is still exactly as when it was sold in 1979, so no service hands,
no relumed hands or dial, no aftermarket bezel or plexi etc.. In used condition of course.

Case is in a fantastic condition, seems untouched to me though you never know for 100% sure;
lugs very thick and with beveled edges intact; look at the fantastic fat and even crown guards.
No severe scratches or chips; only very fine hairline scratches from regular use.
Both serial number and model number are clearly visible between the lugs.

MK2 Beyeler dial with its original lume; zero scratches or stains.
Original hands with original lume; hands are showing light signs of green oxidation which adds personality and proofs these are no service hands;
markers have the best possible color in my opinion, not too light, not too dark.

Original bezel insert with original and matching pearl.
Original chimney type glass with cyclops lens ( with some scratches but it's the just best glass there is for these 1680's ).
Original crown that turns very smooth and locks securely.
Silver date disc with flat 3 and open 6.

Model: Rolex Submariner 1680 MK2
Serial number: 6123xxx
Movement: Caliber 1570 hacking

Mechanically the watch is working 100%; keeping very good time and with a great power reserve.
No need for winding, you pick up the watch and it will start running. Unwinding the crown and setting time and date goes very smooth.
The 1570 movement is a great movement that is praised by many collectors.

Price: 5500 euros ( insured shipping and great Bulang Diablo strap included )
( I give a refund in case the watch is not as described or not 100% Rolex original )

Kind regards,
Bernard
