On last January Jeff Stein wrote an article on International Watch magazine about Heuer Collectables.
In that article, Jeff provided an overview of a few of the “Holy Heuers,” the vintage models that are most coveted by collectors:

EXOTIC AUTAVIA
Among today’s collectors, the most sought-after Heuer chronograph powered by the Caliber 15 movement has come to be known as the “Exotic” Autavia. This model has an entirely different look when compared to any other model in the Autavia line. We see large all-lume markers, checkerboard style hash marks for the 1/5-second track, bright orange hands and accents, and crosshairs for the running seconds register (at nine o’clock). When these models first began appearing on the Internet, collectors dismissed them as fakes, perhaps the work of an overly enthusiastic (or inebriated) dial refinisher.
Every collector has his own “Most Wanted” list and there are several other vintage Heuer chronographs that match the scarcity and value of some of the ones covered in this article. Still, vintage Heuer enthusiasts would agree that we have covered most of the holy Heuers, the ones that occupy a special place in the Heuer universe.

This is a very rare opportunity as I am selling my fantastic EXOTIC Cal.15
Exotic's are rare birds and very "HOT" at the moment...
It was just full serviced by master Abel with some new parts on movement, new plexy and case detailed to its glory as only Abel can do.
Serial is correct within what we know about Exotic's - 271464
Case is 1163 V...also correct.
Untouched Dial and Hands with a stunning faded orange that is quite difficult to get on pictures unfortunatelly.
As Abel told me before he sent it back to me - "you will be pleasantly surprised when you have the Exotic in your hands. In the pictures the orange is always very very difficult to capture"
I think no need to say this is one of the rarest Autavia's around.
The watch has a letter from his 1st owner, who get this watch from his fathers on his 18th birthday and kept it till I got it.
He gives a brief description from its story and where it was purchased too..
Watch comes on a new Heuerville strap, a Tropical strap and (made in Japan) GF with correct end links.
Watch and me are located in Europe in Portugal.
