THIS IS A GORGEOUS VANTAGE HEUER MADE FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION
IT IS IN RARE ORIGINAL CONDITION AND WAS JUST FULLY SERVICED (NEW MAINSPRING)
VANTAGE WAS ONE OF STANDARD 'S TIME ( HAMILTON 'S BRAND FOR THE US MARKET FOLLOWING ITS PURCHASE OF BUREN SWITZERLAND )
THIS MODEL WAS MANUFACTURED BY HEUER IN SWITZERLAND AND BRAND LABELED VANTAGE
IT WAS MARKETED AS A POOR MAN'S ALTERNATIVE TO THE CARRERA
HEUER COMPANY ALSO PRODUCED SIMILAR MODELS FOR CLEBAR AS WELL AS SEARS FOR THE US MARKET
IT IS A QUITE HARD TO FIND MODEL, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION
YOU CAN SEE ON THE CLOSE UP PICS THE HIGH QUALITY OF COMPONENTS USED BY HEUER WHICH ARE SIMILAR TO THE ONE USED FOR THE CARRERA MODEL
Dial: Stunning PANDA Original Factory Dial – NOT REFINISHED – Signed VANTAGE , SWISS MADE w/ luminous filled silver hands, applied markers, two register chronograph, subdials at 3 o'clock ( 30 mn counter ) and 9 o'clock , black telemeter scale in miles
Movement: Original Valjoux 7733 Signed STANDARD, Manual-Winding Movement, Super Clean movement in Excellent condition - functioning well, chronograph functions are all working well also. JUST FULLY SERVICED WITH NEW MAINSPRING
Case: Excellent Massive Stainless Steel case with Stainless Steel Screwback - see close up photos ( minor scratches on case back, watchmaker tool opening slippage ), excellent chrome plated round pushers, original crown, case lugs and bezel in excellent UNPOLISHED condition
Age: Circa late 1960s / early 1970s
Crystal: Acrylic, very good condition
Size: Very large chronograph - diameter without crown = about 37.5 mm, lug to lug : 43 mm
