FS: Autavia Heuer GMT 2446C MKIII - Val 729 Movement

So after a lot of debate and what to do with this I have decided to sell it and let it go to someone who will take good care of it. I can not justify keeping it when there are so many other things that can be done with the money.

I am looking to sell it on a Best offer over $5000.00 USD basis starting today I will take the best offers I receive inot account and make a decision On 10/28/15. Payments will be made to paypal or secure wire transfer all details can be discussed. Buyer is responsable for insured tracking with signature. I would prefer to sell in the US but will ship internationally. I can give refences if needed but I have not sold anything of this caliber before. I know a local watch shop that does a consignment service, I can take it to them they can handle the shipping etc. the buyer is responsible for the fees.

I was going to have the watched serviced but figured it may sell better as is, this way people can have it done by the wtachmaker they trust. I am told by Craig the service would start at $350.00. I am technically the second owner as this was purchased by my grandfather and was passed on to me after my grandmothers death. The bezel is slightly faded but rather sharp compaired to others I have seen. There are about 4 nicks under the case back that are hard to see unless the case back is off. other than that the case nor the crystal have been polished or even cleaned for that matter. The movement is working and doesnt have any issues other that the chrono hand needing to be zeroed it resets to about 2 oclock.

The watch is 100% working I have only wound it very little since I received it from my father I know that it may need to be oiled and do not want to cause a problem. It seems to me to be holding time perfectly but I do not have the proper tools to tell for sure. I have opened the case to confirm the movement and took a video all of the pictures are here:
