FS: 1972 Heuer Autavia Viceroy Ref. 1163V Automatic Chronograph

Hi all, up for sale is a 1972 Heuer Autavia Viceroy Ref. 1163V. This Viceroy Autavia is completely original and appears in unpolished condition. This Autavia has a 274XXX serial number indicating production in the sixth and final batch of Viceroy watches.

Condition is as follows:

Case: 42mm stainless steel case which appears unpolished. Original case chamfers are present and sharp. Polished sides show minor wear as shown in the photos but no gouges or deep dents are present.

Bezel: Steel outer bezel is original and excellent condition with a firm click action. Insert appears to be an aftermarket replacement due to the font in good condition with minor wear and a scratch in the middle of the 63 marker.

Dial/Hands: Original black dial with polished steel markers with white inserts. The tritium is complete and has aged to a creamy patina. Hands are original stainless steel with red accents and narrow tritium portions.

Caseback: Excellent condition solid brushed stainless steel screw caseback.

Crystal: Acrylic crystal in very good condition with no deep scratches, cracks, or chips.

Movement: Heuer caliber 12 automatic chronograph movement with all functions working correctly including start, stop, and reset to zero of the chronograph. The movement keeps excellent time.

Bracelet/Strap: Like new black leather rally style strap, a close reproduction of the original strap offered in the Viceroy campaign.

Accessories: None, sold as watch only.
