FS: 1967 Breitling Navitimer 806 £2500 ONO

Hello and thanks to Chronotrader for the advert space.

I am offering a 1967 Breitling Navitimer with the “twin jet” dial with small subdials. I recently posted and sold another Navi in very similar condition - which I described as "Immaculate" at the time, and this one is a year younger and only slightly less on the Immaculate-scale. While the 806 Navitimer watch itself is not overly rare, what is great about this one is the superior condition of the original dial, lume, and subdials – clearly this has had little wrist time.

Photobucket album is here: http://s1284.photobucket.com/user/buddman3060/slideshow/Navitimer%201967

Case: 42mm stainless steel case with no major dings, dents, or deep scratches as shown in the photos.

Crown is original correct signed “B” crown and pushers start, stop, and reset the chronograph smoothly.

Bezel: Polished stainless steel bezel with internal slide rule in perfect condition.

Dial: Black dial with twin jet logo in excellent condition with all text present and no damage to the dial.

Hands with some tiny degradation to the lume fill, indicating they are contemporary to the date of manufacture.

Caseback: Steel caseback with serial number engraved on the inside. Serial number dates the watch to 1967.

Crystal: Acrylic crystal with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches.

Movement: Original manual winding Venus caliber 178 column wheel chronograph in excellent condition. WOG stamped. All functions work as they should. Service history is unknown but the watch ends and runs well. No reason to suggest a service is needed.

EU sale preferred. Looking for £2500 ONO reflecting the lovely condition of this piece.

Thanks for looking

David
