Up for sale is this 2015 Vintage VDB "No Limit" Limited Edition in massive Sandblasted steel case. With only 40 examples produced in this configuration this is a true LE in any sense of the word. For those who are unfamiliar, Vintage VDB is a modern watch manufacturer based out of Erfurt, Germany that produces only small batches of large handmade tool watches with quality Swiss movements. This big 46mm dive & military-inspired watch features a beautiful dial layout with red accents, steel gladiator hands and handsomely patina-toned Luminova luminous that bring to mind classic design elements from vintage Blancpain, Omega and Rolex/Tudor. This "No Limit" is in overall Mint condition having been worn only once or twice after after a friend of mine acquired it for me this past summer and then put away. It comes complete with box, authenticity card and extra strap with additional signed buckle.

The asking price for this scarce Vintage VDB "No Limit" Blasted is $1350 USD including fully insured FedEx shipping. That's around $200 bucks off the list price when you factor in their shipping charges from Germany and pretty amazing value for money considering the build quality of this watch. Bank Wire preferred but Paypal is also OK with split fees (+2% to the buyer). Other payment options upon application. Payment must be made in US DOLLARS. CASE, BACK & BEZEL: Very large but well balanced 46mm wide (not including crown) x 56mm long x 17mm thick stainless steel case with attractive glare-reducing sandblasted finish in Mint condition. This watch is certainly full size even by Paneristi standards but having conventional lugs unlike most other Vintage VDB models makes it a lot more versatile, IMO (see the wrist shot on my 7.25" wrist). So if you already like oversized divers like Panerai, Kaventsmann and Ennebi Fondale you will pull this off easily. Screw down polygon water resistant back has all the cool Vintage VDB nomenclature including a stated 200 Meters of water resistance. Chunky, knurled unidirectional blasted steel elapsed time bezel features a handsome back and silver inlay calibrated to 20 minutes with red triangle and luminous pearl at the "zero". Classic military dive watch style on steroids!

DIAL & HANDS: Really great looking matte black dial with applied luminous-filled markers and cool red accents including the reverse printed "No Limit" badge. White-on-black date at "3". Brushed steel luminous-filled sword-and-dagger hands with classic Rolex-style "dot" sweep seconds hand. All the Luminova on the dial & hands has really nice creamy vintage-style patina added and very good illumination in the dark. Love this dial/hands layout -- so many nice details that add up to a perfect neo-vintage tool watch design!

CROWN: Very large signed 10mm screw down crown with matching blasted finish is easy to grip and screws down very tightly. The crown pulls out to the winding, quickset date and time-setting positions as it should.

CRYSTAL: Cool flat-but-round-edged sapphire crystal with good antireflective coating is scratch free and Mint.

MOVEMENT: This great Vintage VDB "No Limit" features the redoubtable workhorse ETA caliber 2824-2 with quickest date feature. As a new watch the movement runs strong and keeps good time. Going forward there will probably not too many non-Swatch companies using ETA movements so kind of cool to see the Vintage VDB guys still deploying them here.

STRAPS: This "No Limit" comes with its original signed Isofrane-style black silicone strap with signed blasted tang bucket as well as an additional black OEM leather strap with signed blasted Panerai-style screw in buckle. The buckle and strap of the silicone one are about the only thing on the watch that shows wear with a couple of faint desk diving marks. This big fella takes straps with a 28mm width. Yes, you read that right -- 28mm!

BOXES/PAPERS: This Vintage VDB comes complete with its original black, belted box with inlaid metal logo plus white outer sleeve (not pictured) and handwritten official authenticity card.
