FS: 11630 MH KAF

Hi friends,

I am advertising this great Autavia 11630 MH KAF on behalf of a collector friend in Singapore. The Kenyan Air Force issued a variety of Autavias, both automatic and manual-wind, in the 1970s. Here, for sale is an Autavia 11630 MH that has aged to a very nice sand colour. Caseback has the KAF markings 82AF041.

Stewart from Heuerville has discussed the KAF markings at great length in the link below.

https://heuerville.wordpress.com/2013/02/09/heuer-510-501-kenyan-82-air-force-82af-military-issued/

Dial: The original glossy black dial with grey registers is in good condition with light spotting from age. The orange hands have aged a desert-sand colour that matches the lume plots and the racing sub register.

Case: Case is in a 100% UNTOUCHED and unpolished with the original sunburst graining in the upper case intact and the original ( and sharp ) bevels. Reference and serial numbers are clearly visible between the lugs.

Strap: The watch comes fitted with a hand stitched Italian leather strap that compliments the vintage character of the watch.

Bezel: Original MH bezel with lume dot at 12 o'clock. Bidirectional and making a clicking sound when rotated.

Additional: The watch currently runs well but service history is unknown.

Without further ado, I will let the pictures do the talking
