Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). FS: Vintage Linear Plongeurs Super Compressor serviced, brevet c

Up for sale is my vintage Super Compressor from the french brand Linear. It was made for Plongeurs, meaning divers in french, which is also noted on the dial. It has two crowns, one to operate the inner bezel and the other for setting the time and date. Cool thing about the bezel, it turns from dark blue in sunlight to almost black in normal light.

The watch is fully original and serviced (when I bought it, I let it be serviced. With receipt). It has nice and rare arrow hands which are in good condition, but have some patina to it. This watch was made in the late '60s (January 1968 to be specific). It has a rare radium dial (don't worry, the radioactivity is near zero because of the relatively short halftime of the used radium-isotope).

The overall condition is good, but has some marks of course. Nothing out of the ordinary. For a more detailed view of the condition, see the pictures. It is in a great shape for a almost 50 years old watch! The watch is unpolished.
The watch comes on a rare blue Tropic Sport and with service receipt.

2. Age: from January 1968.
3. Serviced? Yes. With receipt.
4. Some measurements:36mm wide (but wears larger due to the big crowns and inner bezel), 19mm lugs, but 18mm straps work just fine.

6. Price: 625 euros.
7. Shipping: costs for buyer. I am located in The Netherlands.
