FS: Vintage Gigandet 70s Chronograph with Radium Ink-Blue Dial

Clearing out a big part of my collection to fund other ventures in life. (Trying to go on a journey before I graduate)
These watches are all part of my private collection and some I thought I'd never sell but priorities change and so will my collection.
Check out my post history for other collection pieces for sale.

This example is a fairly rare oddity in the watch world. This is a 1970s Watch with a Radium dial. (Huh? That can´t be right, they stopped in the early 60s right?) Well, some examples with older dials are showing up.

Side effect off the radium is so called Radium-burn, as the paint is constantly bombarded by Radium the paint starts to flake. Awesome for the patina-lovers!

Pictures do tell more than a 1000 words ofcourse.

•Mouvement: Landeron 248

•Case: Stainless Steel

•Dimensions: 38mm without crown

•Dial: Deep Blue radium-burned dial with awesome patina

Conditions of sale

I am NOT a professional watch seller and these watches are part of my private collection. Every watch is described to the best of my ablities. The watches are in running condition unless otherwise stated. I consider the pictures part of the description and do not accept refunds. I always recommend a service for vintage watches with no service history and as such i cannot guarantee the timekeeping of these pieces. Please ask any questions beforehand and I will try to answer them. Cheers
