FS: 1960's Lanco Chronograph

This chronograph is presented as an excellent candidate for resoration. There is no major damage to the case, but the chrome finish is at about 65%. The underlying brass isn't badly damaged, but there is a spot on the side away from the crown where it was scraped away by people removing the snap-on steel back. Everything can be polished off and the case re-chromed. Some minor age spotting on the dial, but you need a loupe to see it.

The watch keeps excellent time, and the chrono function works beautifully. Every once in a while, the start button will catch the large seconds hand and throw it back a few seconds when you try to activate the chrono. My watchmaker says it's basically dirt and the movement should be serviced. Agreed, but I have other things pending right now. The watch is 38mm and comes on a deBeers strap. I wear it regularly, just as is, and it looks very good.
