Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Re: Update: WARNING:my dealings with Simone Laterza

: Gents,

: I realize that when purchasing a vintage watch there are risks
: associated, however please let this message serve as my
: experience working with Simone Laterza.

: In October 2017 I purchased a Zenith El Primero a787 claiming that
: "Serviced 2 months ago so in perfectly working."

: The transaction and delivery was as planned, however when the piece
: arrived the chono features did not reset as described.

: To date the watch has been reviewed by two independent watchmakers
: with similar comments that multiple parts need replacing and
: full service is required. I explained this to Simone asking for
: compensation to support these needs. To date his responses have
: been quite elusive and none existent.

: I hope others can report better experiences.

: The lesson learned here.... "know your source and pay a
: premium for that service !"

: All the best... Ernest
Are you crazy Ernest??? I've just found this stupid thread about me...
I've just write you for mails that we can solve this problem. I told you that watch worked well before arrive to you, but if you need I could bring it to my watchmaker.
You asked me just money, and 400$ seems unrealistic, for that I guess You' ve tried to earn some money.
This thread is very unfair, cause the watch was really "just serviced".
I neved had problems with my trading before, the lesson here..."think before writing stupid things".
